All Cuyamaca textbook sales will now be facilitated online at cuyamaca.bncollege.com, but you can still get your favorite branded merchandise and other supplies in the bookstore located in the Student Center.

  1. Select "My Text Books / Find Course Materials." If you are signed into Self-Service or the website, it will populate your courses and your materials or select your courses from the drop down. 
  2. For each book, select the format that you want
  3. Select "In-Store Pickup" or "Ship to Address" and then forms of payment.

All communication will be sent via email including, order confirmation, any issues and when your order is ready for pickup. If you have questions, click the “Customer Care” button at the bottom of the website next to store hours.

How do I order from the online bookstore?

Why order through the online bookstore?

cuyamaca.bncollege.com is our school’s official bookstore, where you can find the textbooks and course materials needed to be successful in class, and orders are monitored daily to ensure you receive course materials as quickly as possible and before the start of class. The bookstore has a dedicated Customer Service Department that is here to support students and answer any questions you have.

Why are there no course materials listed for a class?

If you do not see any course materials listed for a particular class, this could mean there is nothing required for the course, or the instructor has not yet made a course material decision. Please contact your instructor for additional information.

Will textbook prices change?

While textbook prices are subject to change based on market prices and inventory conditions, the Online Bookstore’s goal is to offer students the most competitive price for their textbooks.

When will my books be shipped?

Your books will be shipped and delivered Monday through Thursday, via your selected shipping method at checkout. If all items are not in stock, your order may be held and shipped until all items in your order become available, however, items ordered two weeks in advance of class start, may ship as they become available. Our system will notify you via email the status of your order throughout the process.

Where will my books be shipped?

You may ship your order anywhere you choose or request free delivery to the Student Center bookstore for pick-up.

There are four options for receiving your order:

  • In-store pick-up (free)
  • Standard UPS Ground Shipping (7 to 10 days)
  • Second Business Day Shipping
  • Next Business Day Shipping
Additional shipping charges may apply to large or bulky items (these charges will be noted in the product description). Orders placed after 2pm will not be shipped until the following business day. For international and all other orders, please contact your on-campus bookstore.

 

Can I pick my books up on campus?

Yes, select “Fast In-Store Pickup” when checking out, and your book(s) will be delivered to the Student Center Bookstore. 

On Campus Bookstore hours for Fall 2024:

Do you take debit cards? What credit cards do you take? Other payment methods?

The following forms of payment accepted for your online purchase:

  • Credit Cards (American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa)
  • Student Financial Aid
  • PayPal
Will Financial Aid still be accepted?

Yes, please select “Financial Aid” for payment type and follow the prompts.

When does my debit or credit card get charged?

Your credit or debit card will be authorized and charged upon placing your order. If you are renting books, your credit card will remain on file in case the rented books are not returned or are returned damaged.

Why do I need to enter credit card information if I am paying with a different payment method?

You are required to enter your credit card information if you select to rent any of your books. Your credit card will only be charged for the price of a new book, or if your rental book is not returned by the due date (indicated at the time of your order) or returned damaged. To be accepted, your credit card must have an expiration date that exceeds the rental due date. The credit card you provide for rentals will not be charged if your rental books are returned on time and in good condition.

If I don't have a debit or credit card, can I still order?
If you do not have a debit or credit card to make a payment online visit us in the on-campus bookstore for assistance.
Where can I find my order information, order status, etc?

Click the My Account icon located in the top-right corner of the (Online Bookstore) website. After logging into your account, you can check the status of your order, buyback, or return. If you have any other questions, please contact our Customer Service Department online or call (619) 660-4333.

How do I sell my textbooks back to the online store?
Cash back options for select textbooks at the end of the semester will be available in the on-campus bookstore.
